For example, Desmond Tutu received a Nobel Peace Prize for his nonviolent campaign in Africa. Another example is Martti Ahtisaani, who also received a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to resolve international conflicts. So next time you wonder whether or not the Peace Prize is relevant, it is and it always will be.
